Last week, Books as Bridges Coordinator, Tracy Nearhoof, led a Cultural Literacy Lesson on Uganda and the Philippines to Ms. Abner’s and Ms. Martir’s 4th grade classes. During the lesson, students were given a chance to make a map of their country, learn about natural resources and local culture and even try a local meal.
